Many thanks to ISEMIR leadership for arranging such a valuable and enlightening conference; as I said the setting and amenities were great. The Speakers were fantastic and the interplay of ideas about advanced imaging in Rheumatology was unprecedented in my experience. It was one of the best meetings I have ever attended, without exception. Norm's (Dr. Norman Gaylis) foresight in recognizing the complementary relationship rather than the competition between MRI and Ultrasound made the whole event possible.
Many of our thoughts were crystallized during our preparation as well as plans for the future use of both MRI and Ultrasound in our office. Plus by having 4 of our partners in attendance the playing field has been levelled to a considerable degree as far as the knowledge base in this area goes. Hopefully we can secure their active support for our efforts as we go forward.
