Maria-Antonietta D’Agostino, MD, PhD is currently Professor of Rheumatology, at University Paris Ouest-Versailles-Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines and Rheumatology Department of Ambroise Paré Hospital, APHP, Boulogne-Billancourt, France.

 She has special interest in the use of musculoskeletal power Doppler ultrasound (PDUS) for the management of chronic rheumatic diseases. Her major research interests are the standardization and validation of PDUS as outcome measure for the diagnosis and therapeutic follow up of rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthritis and osteoarthritis. Her research incorporates a spectrum from methodological approach and proof-of-concept work through to large national and international clinical trials. She published several major papers in the field.

 She is currently Deputy Stream Leader of Imaging/Biomarkers Theme at OMERACT, Co-Chair of the OMERACT Ultrasound Task Force, Chair Elect of the “EULAR Standing committee on musculoskeletal imaging” and Faculty Teacher at the EULAR Sonography courses.
