About Us
ISEMIR stands for the International Society for Musculoskeletal Imaging in Rheumatology. The specific purpose of this organization is to bring together, through an educational, nonprofit society, rheumatologists, radiologists and other specialists dedicated to the furtherance of the art and science of imaging as applied to musculoskeletal diseases.
Our mission statement is to provide a means for users, manufacturers and industry to promote matters related to imaging in musculoskeletal disease, in particular validation, education, use in clinical practice and research, with the ultimate goal of improving patient outcome.
There are five classes of members within ISEMIR: Founding, Regular, Associate, Organizational, and Retired. The society has three committees: Education, Research and Regulatory Affairs.
Regular ISEMIR meetings are held twice a year at the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) and European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) meetings.
